Depending on the features you use, Haniverse may process the following information.

Haniverse may provide Magic Link sign-in by email and Google sign-in.
When you use a Magic Link, we may process your email address, authentication-related information, request IP address and technical information such as your User-Agent to issue the authentication link and perform security checks.
If you choose Google sign-in, Haniverse uses authentication information provided by Google to verify you. We may process your email address, display name, profile image and an external sign-in identifier associated with your Google account to the extent necessary to sign you in or create your account.
Personal information processed directly by Google may be subject to Google’s own privacy policy.
When you use the contact form, we process your name, email address, inquiry category, subject, message and language.
To help prevent spam, automated submissions and abuse, the inquiry record stores an HMAC hash generated from the IP address using a secret key rather than storing the raw IP address itself. We may also process the User-Agent associated with the request.
We use inquiry information to review and respond to your request, resolve related issues and protect the service.
Haniverse may use cookies or browser storage technologies to maintain sign-in sessions, remember language settings and provide service features.
A normal sign-in session uses a session cookie. If you choose the option to remember your sign-in and email, Haniverse may keep you signed in and remember your verified email address on that device for up to 30 days.
Cookies or browser storage may also be used for language preferences and certain learning or attendance features.

If advertising features such as Google AdSense are enabled on Haniverse, Google or other external providers may use cookies or similar technologies for purposes such as delivering advertisements, frequency management, preventing advertising abuse and measuring advertising performance.
Haniverse may use functions provided by external service providers for features such as sign-in and advertising. Information processed directly by those providers may be subject to their own privacy policies.
Where applicable law requires consent or user choice, Haniverse seeks to apply the required process before using non-essential cookies or advertising technologies.
Haniverse does not arbitrarily sell personal information beyond what is necessary to provide the service.
Information may be processed or disclosed to the extent necessary when external services are required to provide Haniverse, when you request or consent to the disclosure, or when we must comply with applicable law or respond to a lawful request.
When an external provider processes information as an independent data controller, its own privacy policy may apply.
Haniverse retains personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the relevant purpose and provide the service.
One-time authentication information, such as Magic Link data, is processed for a limited period necessary for authentication and security checks.
Inquiry records may be retained for the period necessary to handle the inquiry, provide follow-up support, address disputes and prevent abuse.
When the purpose has been fulfilled or an account is deleted and the information is no longer needed, we generally delete it. We may retain limited records for the period necessary to comply with legal obligations or protect the service and prevent abuse.
You can request deletion of your Haniverse account from your profile.
When account deletion is completed, data directly associated with the account, including account information, sign-in data, learning, attendance and activity records, and profile photos stored by Haniverse, is deleted.
Verified email information stored on the device through the remember-sign-in feature is also removed as part of the account deletion process.
Limited records that must be retained to comply with legal obligations or that are strictly necessary for security and abuse prevention may be kept only for the necessary period.

Haniverse applies technical and organizational measures appropriate to the service to reduce the risk of loss, misuse, unauthorized access, alteration or disclosure of personal information.
These measures may include access restrictions, input validation, CSRF protection, secure session and cookie settings, rate limiting for sign-in and contact requests, safe database handling, and cryptographic hashing where appropriate.
No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but Haniverse works to maintain protections appropriate to the information we process and the nature of the service.
Subject to applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your personal information and other rights relating to its processing.
Information that can be changed directly from your profile can be updated there, and you may use the account deletion feature to request deletion of your account and related data.

Haniverse is not operated for the purpose of knowingly collecting children’s personal information in an inappropriate manner.
Where additional safeguards such as parental consent are required under the laws applicable to a user, Haniverse seeks to comply with those requirements.
If a parent or guardian believes that a child has provided personal information to Haniverse without appropriate consent, please contact us regarding the information.
We may update this Privacy Policy when our service features, data practices or applicable laws change. If a change is important, we may provide an appropriate notice through the service.
